When reporting problems, see if you can include the following:

  • The things you did which led up to the problem.
  • The URL that was in your location bar when the problem occurred.
  • Exactly what you saw on the screen.

Snail Fashion Show

I think we should do a Snail Fashion Show. Seriously!

I'm thinking of something very similar to MODA, where there is a runway, and the Snails come out one at a time with some very good "fashion commentary" the way they do on MODA. I am sure we can find somebody to do the commentary. In fact, Duckyfresh Watanabe (who used to do That S'Life is back inworld and would love to do something. She has done lots of fashion commentary in the past for some big shows and also is a very funny girl with a great sense of humor.

How to Add Images to Your Postings and Blogs

You can add images to your postings by using the "Add Image" link right below the text area you are typing in.

To use this, do the following:

    Position the cursor where you want the image in your post.

      Click on "Add Image", then either select the image from your list of past images, or upload a new one.

        When you get to the page which has the "Insert" button (shown below), then click Insert to add your image to the posting.

New Feature: Creating Clips

Many of our shows have small segments of interest to particular people. A show may have a music segment that the artist wants to put on their site. Or, there may be a particularly relevant part of a discussion that you think deserves attention.

Clips allow any Treet website user to:

  • Create a clip by picking the start and end time of any show on our website.
  • Customize that clip by adding your own description and headline.
  • Create a new "poster frame" to replace the normal thumbnail seen on our site and in the player.

If you don't know already, Saturday is the day of the MaMachinima International Festival. If you love Machinima, it's the place to see the best there is to see, and meet many of the people who make it happen. Visit The official MMIF site for information and schedules. Becoming a Beta Test User

Treet will be rolling out new features all through 2010. Many of these features aren't yet ready for the public, so we have a Beta test program which you can join if you want to help us.

If you join the Beta Test program, we ask that:

  • You read the Beta forums regularly to determine what features are available only to you.
  • If you find bugs, that you do your best to report them using our contact form or in the Beta Testing forums.

Hell was the best so far

I really think the Hell episode was the best so far. I think a lot of things contributed.

First, the Racing was GOOD. Much better races with a lot more important turning points than usual.

Next, I think the camera work benefited from us revamping the way Camera 3 works. Racer's camera scripts now give some really good options, and combined with Texas work on CAM1 I think this means future episodes will be better, and we'll follow the action more.

I don't know where Pooky and Hydra come up with questions for the show, but they seem to have a limitless supply. But wait!! No they don't! Pooky put a "call for questions" in the forum. Now is your chance to control the outcome! You control the vertical.... you control the horizontal! Give her some question ideas. How about some guest questions for her show.

Feature Suggestions

You'll notice that on every episode there is a little link below the video that says "Suggest As Feature".

When any visitor clicks this, we make a record of it and this will be our guide when deciding what episodes to feature on the home page. Although we'll include most all recent episodes, it's cool to encourage people to suggest episodes as features to help us pick the winners.
