Zen Paine has been encouraging us to see if we can get Treet shows distributed via the Roku set top box.

I've already been looking into Boxee and see it as a really good option - we just need to get the Boxee interface scripting sorted out and we're there.

After some preliminary looking in Roku I came across this interesting article: http://newteevee.com/2009/08/10/roku-adds-mlb-tv-channel/

MLB.TV streaming their shows live to Roku customers is a great inspiration for us given so many Treet shows are broadcast live.

There's some really exciting plans for the Treet Business website. We've got a couple of new shows in development as well as the Best Practices in Education conference coming up in late March.

The first new show to launch is a series called Open for Business, presented by Treet and Beta Technologies. Hosted by former journalist, Gayle Cabaret, the series will provide insights into how companies are using Second Life for business, as well as useful tips for new users of the platform.

I'm really loving using the Treet wiki (http://wiki.treet.tv). It makes the idea of having documents hidden away in some folder on a shared server completely archaic. With a wiki, it's alive. Others can add to and change. It's a constantly dynamic resource that is available to everyone and I use it daily.

After hearing the first reports of how people are using Wave, I'm getting excited about how that can be used to produce shows on Treet as well as other activities we do.

I went shopping with my friend Kelly who is new to Second Life, we got a new skin, hair and boots and I gave her some transferable items for the rest of the outfit.

I'm so impressed by the way the Treet player gets embedded all over the web. The Sightings page on this site is a great tool to see where the Treet shows are being played. Here's a website in Poland where Metanomics was posted and had thousands of viewers.

Although not directly citing virtual worlds, the recent Frost & Sullivan report on advanced collaboration, demonstrates the ROI of investing in technology to cut down on travel and improve productivity and work/life balance for employees.
